  3. There are a ton of places to work in pa as a cna. The nursing homes around here hiring you pretty much on the spot. Its really easy to get a job. The only thing is your co workers try to bring you down, if your better than them. You have co workers that are very ignorant to the residents and dont try them like family, like how they should. Your best bet is to get into a nursing home, because hospitals dont hire to many entry level CNA-s
  4. This site is great! I wanted to know if anyone could answer my questions. I am starting my CNA training at A LTC july 9th and its 16 days long, now i wanted and been wanting to get into LPN. i worked as a PCA for about 6 months and loved being around people. But for some reason when i took the LPN test it was computerized i didnt pass the math part. I know basic math but its harder for algebra and ect for me. Now does anyone think once i go thru the CNA ill have a better understanding of math and when i go to take the LPN written entrance exam, ill understant it better? Any Input would be helpful thanks!
  5. Hello THIS site is WONDERFUL. i dont know how to post a new thread so ill use this one. But i am starting a 16 day cna training program at a LTC. i have worked as a pca before but i have been wanting to take a LPN course. And the require you to have a entrance exam, but i have horrible math skills and i failed it once. I want to get into it so badly. Do you think once i get my cna they wont make me take the entrance test?
