  1. Hello again everyone! Hope you all didn't suffer too much with the wind storm! My question is about U of L's upper division and exactly when I should be applying to see if I even have a chance. I have heard it is very competive. I should finish up my prereqs in the Spring of 2010. How soon before that should I be applying? Any advice from fellow students or grads would be appreciated. Do I have a chance with a 3.0 GPA? Math is awful Thanks so much! Holly

Thanks so much for the advice. After some thought, I think I'm going to stick with U of L. My husband is supporting me with every step, and I've been at it this long so I want that 4 year.. well, 8 year degree :) Thanks again!
  3. Hello everyone! I am currently a 23 year old student at U of L and have my tuition paid for by working for UPS at night. I have been in school since 2003, and have JUST decided on Nursing. If I continue to keep going at this rate, I may be done in 2012 (including upper division). My problem is that I'm worried about keeping my GPA up for acceptance into the Upper Division, science and math aren't my best subjects. Also, my husband is done with school and we're wanting a home but my 20 hr work week doesn't cut it for that. My question is, should I continue with U of L's BSN program or transfer to JCC for the ADN, start work with that, and go back for BSN with tuition assistance from them? I've heard a lot about the unorganization of JCC. I would really appreciate the advice! Thanks in advance! -Katali
