  1. Hi Suzanne. I am here in USA in H-4 visa and just finished my 2year RN program. I have not been able to find any jobs here .....as u said ....there r no visas available......but when i call back home (india ) i hear that there r so many jobs available for nurses and there r several agencies who even apply for their visas and take care of all the paperwork. I really did not understand this. Is there a different visa category for nurses who come from overseas. Also does having a SSN# make any difference?? Could you please advice. Thank You .
  2. Hi i am actually in the same situation as you. I just finished my 2 year Rn program and i am also here on an h-4 visa. I have been looking around but ofcourse no luck. I am planning to go back school ....looking into some options to do RN- MSN program.
  3. Thank You Suzanne for the information. I am actually in an H-4 visa at present so did not have an option to get OPT. I did try and call a lot of hospitals but as you said most of them are not sponsoring at present. I am looking into the option of going back to school also. I actually found a 2 year RN-MSN program. Still looking into it. Not sure if it is a good idea to do it online. Thank You again
  4. Hi i am an international student. I just graduated as an RN from a 2 year college. I was looking for jobs in Connecticut but since i am not a resident here I am not eligible to work here as a nurse until i get sponsered by the hospital for a working visa also known as H1-B visa . Does anybody have any information on this. Thank You
