I am a pre-nursing (lpn) student, I begin classes in August. SOOO excited! :balloons: This is great reading all of this! I'm glad to see that there ARE opportunities out there other than JUST LTC (which I'm not completely opposed to. I would just like to branch out a little further, being that I am a CNA working with geriatrics so I'd just like to do something different for a change!). Does anyone know specifically for the state of Pennsylvania, if there are a lot of options there as far as where you can work?
ah that's awesome to hear shel. thank you for the response. What state are you in? I guess I didn't think to mention that I am in Pennsylvania. It probably varies by state huh? Don't know if that makes a difference or not. And also, what do the LPN's do?
I just have a quick question... I'm not yet a nurse, but I am starting LPN school in August. I'm just curious as to whether or not LPN's are able to work in oncology? I would love to work in that area of nursing, but I may just have to wait till I go for my BSN I guess :) Anyways, if anyone has any idea, I would greatly appreciate it
I've been kind reading over this forum for a long time now, it's awesome so I am just now giving my first post. CONGRATS PrivetteWifey!!!! :) I too just received my acceptance letter and packet (for vocational school). I am soo excited! I didn't think I was going to be getting in at all, because I had received my letter back in April, and they had put me on an alternate list. I was soooo disappointed. So I just got my acceptance letter a few days ago
