Hello, I'm totally new to all of this and need some information. I'm currently taking pre-reqs at HCC (A&P, then Pharmacology) in hopes of getting into nursing. I'm 45 years old and don't know if I'm too old to do this or not. I just know I want to be a nurse, so I'm biting the bullet and going back to school. I'm single and working full time and have no idea how difficult it's going to be. Is the ADN program at HCC a good program that will allow me to take the exam for an RN? Is there a waiting list on that program? If I already have a BA, should I go for a BSN? What are the benefits of doing so, etc? I want the quickest route to an RN as possible as I'm not getting any younger! Any help would be much appreciated. For those of you that are already nurses, I just want to say thank you for all you do everyday!!!!! You are my heroes!
