  1. Hospitals and doctors do not pay attention to us little people until it hits them in the pocket. Just such a situation happened in the town i am working in. Neuro surgeon called his scrub tech an unflattering name and threatened to have her fired. She sued him and threatened to sue the hospital if they did not back her. She won, she now has a very nice home, a bmw, and a new jeep. Now the hospital insists on incident reports being written and presented to the board of directors. The Nuero surgeon in question is now off staff because since he has had a couple of simular situations.
  2. Western Kentucky 2yr OR nurse 16.17hr (prior job 18yrs as Surg.Tech) call 1 weekend every 5 weeks 48hr call, 2.25 on call pay, time and half if called back, 2 days call during week every other week. Looking forward to traveling soon! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
