I am confuse regarding the difference between specific gravity test and serum osmolality test? If creatinine and bun are high does that mean the person is dehydrate? what is the purpose of the albumin test?

MD order:Aminophylline 15cc/hr continuous infusion. Solution is 275mg in 250cc solution. The recommended dose is 0.3-0.5mg/kg/hr. The pt weighs 45kg. how many mg will the pt receive in an hour (mg/hr) Is the MD infusion safe and therapeutic? MD order is for Aminophylline 45mg/hr. the concentration is 500mg in 250mls. The patient weighs 64kg. The recommended dose is 0.7-0.8mg/kg/hr. Is the MD dose safe/therapeutic? At what IV rate would you set this IV medication?

I need help with doing physical assessment of the body. Is there a video to watch to do a full assessment on the body? I am on the border to failing one of my nursing class, should i go ahead and take the final or drop the class. I want to go ahead and take the final, only thing I need to do is get a C on the final that will mean I will have a C in the class.

Iwant to thank you for posting your concerns about getting c grades. I was a great student in school. I hold right now a 3.5-4.0 gpa. i am a first year nursing student. i just cried to my husband a few minutes ago about quitting nursing school because of my c grades. after reading everyone comments about grades and finally becoming a RN. i do not feel bad about my C's thank god I am passing and possibly move on to the next level. thank god for this forum. i do not know what i would have done. this is a humble experiences because i tell my kids they need to get good grades and i would tell them i have A's and B's. now i will accept what my kids get now and let them know as long as you passing with a c and better you doing fine. thank you again for your post it help me. :balloons:
