  1. :smackingf You are correct. I am not saying that I didn't catch the many errors in her post. I did. I just think there may have been a more tactful way to say it. With that being said, I, too, could have been more tactful. Thanks for the insight, Wren! Good luck, love2shop!
  2. I work prn in cont. care hospice. Yesterday I was taking care of a man that hadn't moved in 2 days. Seconds before he passed, he slowly began to move his right arm up. I called for his wife to come into the room, and as she did, he waved. He died right after. Later, as I cleaned him up, I noticed his right pointer finger was curled. (The man had been an avid sharp shooter--professionally, I believe.) I again called for his wife to see. She was so tickled at the "gifts" he left for her and knew he was "home"!
  3. What a way to show support to your fellow nurses!?! Shame on you for your complete lack of couth. Literacy and spelling? Obviously, this nurse can read. So what if she misspelled a word or two? It's a post, not a freaking resume.
  4. ALWAYS!! I feel so grimy when I leave work! Shoes come off before I walk through the door and I head straight for the shower.
