Hello. Im in Essex County and would LOVE to go to nursing school. I have no clue where Id start or how to start. I dont even know if Id be going for RN, LPN? If I got to pick Id love to be a L&D nurse, but I really just want to be a nurse.

Wow, thats great Lori!! So I can start by only taking 1 or 2 classes? I think that's what I should do. I'm 30 and have 3 small kids. 10,5 and 3, Im a SAHM. Im wondering if I should wait until they're older to do this? I wanted to start asap though.

I notice a lot of people on here work 12 hour shifts. Do most hospitals only have that? I know the one I gave birth at they had nurses for 7-3, 3-11, 11-7. Just wondering if all hospitals have 8 hour shifts. Thanks!!
