  1. I hope you'll be able to go to the open house. I was extremely impressed with them that I didn't want to look at any other schools. Good luck! I'm sure you'll be fine. Keep us updated!
  2. I figured I should answer my own poll. 1. How many schools did you apply to? 1 2. Which school was your number one choice? Hopkins 3. Where were you accepted? YES! 4. Which school did you end up going to?I will be attending JHU this fall
  3. I took A&P II and Micro from June to July 5th and got A's in both! I'm also taking Nutrition, which started in June and will end in August and just added Life Span Development two weeks ago. All is well here and can't wait for August when all my pre-reqs will be finsihed and I can worry about the upcoming nursing program in September. Good luck everyone!
  4. Thanks for the advice!
  5. I have my chemistry degree and my GPA was a 3.3 from that (if I hadn't taken physical chemistry it would've been higher). This summer I'm taking 4 pre-reqs that I need. I know if you get a "C" in a pre-req the admissions committee will take another look at your application (if you had already been accepted and then got the "C"). Keep in mind they truly look at EVERYTHING that you've done so it's not all about the grades. If I were you, I would go to one of their open houses. They have one twice a year. I really learned a lot from it and was the only reason I applied for this fall this late. Good luck!
  6. I just found out that I was accepted to JHU for this fall! Will I be seeing anyone there?

  8. I'll be taking A&P II, nutrition, micro, and growth through the life span. I will have NO life but I'm ready to tackle them and get into a program. Good luck to everyone.
  9. Mine start May 29th and end Jul 5th (I think). The nutrition class goes till Aug 4th.
  10. :balloons: Congratulations Dee! :balloons:
  11. I took A&P I online and my teacher was horrible. She didn't answer our questions until after the exams and it just got worse. Anway, 60% of the students ended up dropping but I was determined to keep going and pass. I got a B and probably know more on the A level cause she was so hard. You can do it.
  12. I'm taking A&P II, Micro and Nutrition this summer. For a couple of weeks all three overlap! I won't be working so I can devote all my time to my studies and get into nursing school sooner than later. GL!
  13. I went to an open house in March and spoke with the Director of admissions. She told me to send in my stuff for Fall 2007 semester. I kept in touch with her until I sent in my application two weeks ago. I'm still waiting for a repsonse. Try and find an open house or contact the Director of admissions at schools near you. It doesn't hurt to ask and it shows that you are modivated and ready to go. GL!
