  1. Interview went great....I'm relieved it's over.... I really got along well with the managers, the interview lasted about an hour and they gave me a tour... There are 255 RN's employed in the NICU.... that's level 2 and 3. 79 beds.... 1 to 2 pt's per RN in the level 3....it's enormous. I'm really excited:nurse: I hope I got it...won't know for a couple of weeks though... Only one position left open and she's still got more people to interview. So now I just wait....
  2. Hi I'm Ginyer.... This is my first post on here although I've been reading threads on this sight since I was taking prereq's for nursing school. I graduate from nursing school this December....we get this summer off to do an internship if we'd like. I recently applied for an internship in the NICU at a local hospital and got an interview. At the interview I was told that 40 people had applied, they were interviewing 12 and only 2 positions were open. I was a trainwreck during the interview but I guess she saw something she liked because I was called back for a 2nd interview with the manager. I couldn't be more thrilled....it's today at 1:00. It's just about impossible to get a job at this hospital so if I can get this job as an intern....there's a really good chance I'll get hired on as an RN after graduation...assuming they feel I'm a good fit. I want this more than anything and sure could use some good luck vibes if anyone has any to spare. Thanks a lot! GinyerH
