  2. im glad to see that there are national univ. students on this forum. i am national univ. student, as well, and i am currently enrolled in ILR. after this class, i have all the required classes needed to apply (micro, a&p1. a&p2, english, sociology, psych, and speech.) but i still have my accuplacer to take and my essay to work on. my question is, on the application, there is a section for "health assessment." is that a health assessment class you need to take? or is it a section for a physical? here is a link to the application. take a look... http://k55.nu.edu/resources/NU/collateral/departmentResources/BSN_App.pdf
  3. Thats good to hear. Like i said previously, I havent had any kind of clinical experience in years. I'm just worried that noone will hire me. My aunts keep telling not worry because, like you said, they have orientation but i still worry that i wont get hired. But thank you. Your message makes me feel better. I think I just need to work on my confidence! Haha. And I've also started to read my nursing books again as a refresher. Thanks again.:monkeydance:
  4. Hi! I'm from San Diego. And hopefully my fellow San Diegans can help me. I graduated from the LVN program a few years ago but only recently did I pass the NCLEX exam. Am I still considered a "new grad?" Do you think I'll have a hard time finding a job? Its been years since I last worked at a hospital. But I'm excited and willing to learn! Are there refresher courses I can take?
  5. can anyone tell me how much new grads make in san diego?
  6. after months of waiting,i finally recievedmy results in the mail today. and... I PASSED!!:monkeydance: Good luck to everyone!!

  8. I'm hoping someone can answer my question. I recently took my NCLEX-PN and I was wondering when your name is posted on the online license verification. Is it after you have paid for you actual license or as soon as you pass? I took my test months ago and have yet to recieve my results via mail. I've called the board of nursing and it always seems to be busy. I left a message but they have yet to contact me. I've checked for my name on via online license verification and my name doesnt show up. Does that mean I didnt pass?
