the Aramco people are offering your own 1 bed apartment on the compound, and you dont have to share, I'm really looking to speak to people whove actually worked and lived there, I dont have any issues with the islamic law or customs - I'm well read on it and Ive travelled to middle east on vacation so Im aware of the cultural differences, thanks for your advice though Im on my way to the mall now and will pop into borders and see if they have a copy of the book you recommended - I really do appreciate your feedback :) Ruthie

Hey folks, Im an Irish nurse (Emergency) who is thinking of taking up a contract in Saudi, ive the prospect of an interview with Aramco in march and i was looking to get some feedback from nurses who've worked there or a fairly familiar with the set up? i'm also wondering about the lifestyle and what you do on your days off? Its a big move for me and its far from home, ive no problem with cultural differences or respecting traditions etc.. I'm just curious about the lifestyle and integration etc.. i'm worried that when i get there and I dont know people i'll be a bit lonely..I sound like a bit of a home bird there which I am not... i just have a zillion questions... if anyone has any advice or experiences id be most greatful of a response..
