  1. I would sure hope that you would check!! Several times too!! I once saw a nurse who passed all her meds during the shift then at the end of the shift signed her meds. I was stunned!! She shrugs and tells me she does this all the time. Scary!
  2. Greetings fellow nurses in any field, I am trying to figure out drug conversions and need a site I can go to for reference.. Examples: convert 127 mcg = mg 65 mg - mcg .238 mg = ? mcg 14 mg =?gm 670mcg=?mg 400mg=?gm 7mg tablet=?mg/0.5 tablet 48mg/tab-12/mg tab What is the correct way to convert these from one to the other please...andmake it wasy!! As well I need to know the answer to this...and how to get the answer as well Question: Calculate the number of tablets or capsules administered for each dose over a 24 hour period a/calcium carbonate 600 mg.p.o. t.i.d. The medication is available in 300 mg tablets. b) Prednisone 40 mg po. u.i.d The medication is available in 5 mg tablets Calculate the amount of liquid administered for each dose and for the 24 hour period a) Docusate sodium syrup 200 mg.p.o. u.i.d. The medication is available in 4mg per mL b) Gravol liquid 75 mg,p.o. q4h p.r.n. Gravol liquid is available in 15 mg per 5 mL
