Geez, so far I feel like the only one going in without the NEAT. I turned in the application late b/c I got accepted late..so I guess that's why I didn't recieve it. Oh well, Congrats on you both getting it! Yeah the paperwork is overwhelming but I think I got most of it finished, did you get a chance to get your BLS certification card? I just took care of that a few weeks ago.

I wish it was automatic. You have to apply for them, and they only accept a certain amount. CHANCES is especially competitive. They only take a few out of over a 100-150 applicants. I was really relying on the NEAT. I thought that it was pretty guarenteed but they told me they selected who they wanted and that's it. You can work for Emory before you become an RN?? I would definitely do that, but what would they hire you as?

Yeah I applied for both of them and didn't get it. I barely got any financial aid from Emory apparently because my parents make too much. But that doesn't mean they are paying for any of it. I've tried every hospital in atlanta and none of them offer anything close to the NEAT or the CHANCES programs. Thanks for your advice though!

Im starting Emory this fall as well! I'm having problems though figuring out how to pay for tuition. It is so high. If I may ask, are you getting a scholarship? How you working out tuition costs?

Is Emory's School of Nursing worth the extremely high tuition?? I got into Emory for this upcoming fall and I was all ready to go. I didn't get into my school's nursing program for the fall (GCSU). Now I just found out my school accepted me for their Spring program. At first I was going to go to Emory no matter what, but now i'm having second thoughts because of the heavy burden of loan money i'm going to have to borrow. If anyone has gone or is going to Emory's nursing school, let me know how tuition costs affected you. Thanks! Amanda
