it is a new procedure for the removel of fluid overload. its called aqua phersis. its a form of ultrafiltration. it is done on an out patient basis. i am starting the procedure from the ground up. it started on 5/1 and so far i have had no pts. it is a 24/7 job till i find somebody to work part time to cover me for sick call and vacation. the company is called phersis therapeutics. it is based in ca. i get paid even if i do not have pts. i need somebody to work part time for now with a good possibility of full time in the near future. once it takes off, if i do not have anybody, i will be swamped with work. once there is 1 procedure done ,the md's will see how well it works and the procedure will fly. the procedure is being done in las vegas at southwest medical. they have a close observation unit, that is set up as an icu. the girls at the clinic are very interested and are willing to help. i will be responsible for the procedure and they will take care of the pts other needs ie. pain meds. the md,s are right on the 2nd floor an are a phone call away. terry
