  1. Dismissed from nursing program

    VRNH posted a topic in General Nursing
    I was dismissed from a nursing program because I failed two nursing courses and I wanted to know has this ever happened to you and were you able to get into other nursing program? If so please give me the name of the nursing program. I currently live in georgia and I am willing to travel any were to become a nurse. I have talk to alot of program in georgia and they will not talk a student with two nursing failures. I failed my nursing courses because I had a death in the family and I was into a car accident and I became very depressed and anxious. Also, should I tell other nursing program that I was depressed and anxious because I feel as thought alot of nursing programs would look down on that because you have to very strong handle a nursing program. Please help me I don't know what to do I really want to be a nurse.
