Hi! I'm also posting this on the NYC board, since that's where I live, but I'm hoping I can get some advice from y'all! I currently work in public relations... and I hate it. I love people, but PR is so fake and schmoozy. The nurses I've had over the years (back home in Texas, and up here) were always so nice and certainly don't receive enough credit for what they do. Basically, where do I start? What are some of the pros and cons? I'm 22 and have a bachelor's in communications (I've been working/living in NYC for two years). --How do I get licensed? --What should I even get licensed in, to start out? --How do I start? I know absolutely nothing about getting into nursing through any other path except your typical 4-year degree. Help? Thanks!
