Are you guys working out of the recommended texts from excelsior or are you using others in addition? I am using wilkinson and Kozier for nursing process. Any other suggestions?

don't let me scare you. I rather expected something like this with independent learning. We are talking Nursing process UGHHH how much fun can that be? i think once I get this down the rest will be less stressful. Nursing process is one of those things like english you use it every day but they want you to break it down into little bits and analyze it. YUCK. when you think about it you say oh yeah I do that all the time but why do they have to word it like that? But the nursing process is used throughout the program so you ned a good firm understanding. that is what I am attempting to do now is get that firm understanding but not knowing how much is too much information or not enough.

Hi!i am an LPN and I just recently started the RN program through Excelsior. i am in Nursing concepts one and the nursing process is making me CRAZY!!!! I am wondering if I am overstudying it. I do not have a detailed study guide and am afraid I will miss something if I am not thorough but at this rate it will take me FOREVER. I know only 10% of the exam comes from the nursing process BUT the programs foundation is nursing process so I feel I need to know it well. did anyone else feel this way when doing the program. Am I over studying and reading too much into this section? How long did it take you to complete the program. I am looking at CLEP ing some prereqs has anyone done CLEPS before?
