  1. Here is another random question.. I will be starting Charity in August and was wondering if anyone knew if there are certain drugs that CSN frowns upon. I have been prescribed by my physician a low dose Adderall XR, I only take it as needed and can function without it. But I do better with it. I know there is much hype surrounding this drug because it is frequently being abused these days. It is an amphetamine I believe, so I'm deciding if I should just stop taking it prior to starting Charity to avoid any controversy. Any opinions on this?? thanks
  2. I was wondering if anyone has any input on how tattoos are percieved at CSN and the nursing field in general. I dont have any on forearms or neck or anything. just one midway down bicep. they are easy to hide with usually just a tee shirt but definitely with 3/4 length shirt under scrubs. I plan to keep them hidden but was just curious if someone got a glimpse of them are you then viewed or treated differently. Not just at CSN but in nursing field in general. thanks for any input.
  3. If you haven't take prereqs i would look those up and start taking them. Charity should accept any from SLU (i believe) not sure about SLU taking delgado credits. delgado offers most if not all of the classes in the evening in covington. if, or once prereqs are out of the way, i know charity is offering evening classes, not sure about SLU. you'll have to do an entrance exam, PAX for charity. right now charity is offering clinicals in covington/slidell and some lectures in covington. i think pretty much anyone qualifies for enough financial to at least cover tuition. (delagdo is pretty cheap) it's hard to keep a job once you are in the actual program. but yeah the first thing is prereqs like english, math, biology, anatomy & physiology, elective etc. good luck. http://www.dcc.edu
