I'm currently 32 weeks pregnant. My hemoglobin levels are between 6-7, and my ferritin level tested today at a 2 (yes, 2). What complications could arise during delivery because of this? This is also a vba2c attempt, so i could end up with a csection. I'm going to weekly IV iron infusions, but the hematologist I'm seeing is saying that my hemoglobin level will only be up to an 8 (hopefully 9, but unlikely) by the time I deliver. For the record, I FEEL fine. Honestly. A little out of breath, but I still have the energy to keep up with two preschoolers while hugely pregnant lol.
