  1. Wow! Are you guys just extremely confident before going into the test or what is the deal? I am in nursing school right know and everything seems dramatic. What test taking techniques did you guys use while you were still in nursing school. I've used the whole entire weekend contemplating what is the mind set of nursing school. Is it just a mind game within yourself? I would love a response. Congrats guys! =)
  2. I understand that you feel exactly like this! .. but do not fret it will be okay. I just got out of Pediatrics. I was actually in the exact same predicament that you are in. First you need to look at your test and see where you went wrong and how.... are you speeding through your test? answer to fast? second guess yourself?.... Maybe this new teacher that your having teaches different than what your used to. Maybe you need to find a new study habit. For me, I would listen to lecture, go home and compare the information in the book and write both sources down on a note note card. I would ask questions about EVERYTHING that I didn't understand and that helped me tremendously! Just remember if you believe in a higher source then PRAY and keep your head up. I wish I was going to be ready to graduate this May. I still have another year left. Look how far you have come! =)
  3. Thank you so much for your advice. May God bless you and I appreciate it very much!
  4. :uhoh21: Hello everyone! I am a second semester nursing student.. I am on OB right know and just finished pediatrics.. and I'm finding myself having problems dealing with self esteem issues. I fathom the cause of this was a recent C that I got in Peds (which I've never made before) and it seems it's getting harder for me not to "fall into" the habit of being competitive with other nursing students. My point is, can anyone offer me advice about how to deal with stress more effectively when moments present themselves as in taking tests, doing clinicals, etc. ANY feedback would be well appreciated. Thanks so much!
