  1. Have anyone had experience on taking care of suprapubic catheter? I have a friend who had an initiated suprapubic cathether insertion last Tuesday. He developes light infection reaction around the incision. I expect that happen but I don't how long it would last and how can I take care of that. The hospital he went for surgery was very good except for one thing. They didn't give any information on how to take care of it. I have no experience on suprapubic catheter. I tried to google it and there isn't much information Neither. Please help me! Thank you very much in advance. :hdvwl:
  2. Yes, this survey could be affected by going online. Some studies showed the smoking nurse had a lower ratio than my. Overall the result I got from this survey has a lower ratio than general population(almost 60% people with unhealthy weight). My point in my paper is althought nurses know all about healthy living, but not all of us practise those healthy advise. Beside knowledge, there is a need of other strategies to promote people practise healthy lifestyle, like working enviornment, community enviornment, goverment policy... Once again thanks to all who paticipated in this survey. I got a great grade on my paper 93%. I will meet you some other time at other place. This is a great forum.
  3. Hi, everyone Sorry I am late to post the result. The course just gave me too much assignment to do. Now I am a bit free from that. Here is the result: Practise all 4 healthy lifestyle nurses 11% Practise 3 healthy lifestyle nurses 21% Practise 2 healthy lifestyle nurses 41% practise 1 healthy lifestyle nurses 24% pracitse none healthy lifesytle nurses 3% smoking nurses 73% inacitvity nusres 40% overweigh nurses t 53% not enought fruit and vegetable eating nurses 68% Overall the ratio of nurse practise healthy lifestyle just a little higher than general ratio. To me it was an unexpected result and it raise an other question in my mind. But I don't have time to do it right now, maybe later. I got 93% on my paper: Healthy Lifestyle for Nurse.Thank you very much everyone.
  4. Hi, Canadian Nurses I am doing this poll, I have got 70s complete respones mainly from US. I hope I could have more data from Canada site. In that way I could talk a little more about Canadian nurse in my paper, because I am a canadian nurse student. Please help me out! Thank you very much!
  5. Hi, there I live in Fort Erie. Have traveled across the board for many times. These what I knew about the board: as long as you are citizen of US/ Canada and work at your own country, you will be allowed to stay in Canada/US up to 6 months without any documentation. If you plan to live in Canada longer than 6 months, you need to apply permanent residentship. Theoretically you wouldn't have much problem to cross the board, but there are sometimes exceptions. If I were descendant of Middle-east, I would think about living in Canada very carefully. I have heard that Middle-east- American are more likely to be questioned by custome officer in purpose. If you decide to live in Canada, at the first few months, you may have some little problem with crossing board here and there. But the more you travel the easier you have. You can also apply NEXUS that allow you cross board quicker than others. Overall, living in Canada and going back to work at US is not a hard thing. lots of people in Fort Erie do so. So good luck to you!
