Attention weekend evening BMCC grads/nur 2,3,4 students
Thank you. I tried getting that book but it's sold out. I guess my biggest concern is that I'm spending all this time studying but the effort won't be reflected in my grades. And that's upsetting to me. Not just because I was a straight A student, but because I feel if you are putting in the time, you should be able to reap the rewards. Thanks again

Where Should I go?
Be careful doing it this way though. Not all CUNY nursing programs have the same pre-reqs. Also just because both schools are CUNY doesn't mean the credits are interchangeable. Go to the CUNY website and use their credit transfer calculator to make sure. In my opinion, if you are going to transfer to city tech anyway, why not do your whole 4 years there? It's less headaches, and many nursing programs require that you be pre-clinical in their school for at least a semester before they allow you to apply to the clinical portion of their program.

Where Should I go?
They were from Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn when i used to work there. I work at Cornell now and I've been told the same thing by some of the doctors here. The only hassle with CSI is the commute. The bridge toll is killer and the bus rides is hours long.

Where Should I go?
If this is any help. Before I got into the BMCC program all the doctors I worked for told me CSI was the best program. Also some of the nurses told me the same. Only thing is the commute. If that's a problem for you then go with Tech. Hunter caters to ASNs going for their Bachelors.

Attention weekend evening BMCC grads/nur 2,3,4 students
Hi - I realize there is a student's forum but the people I need for the answers I'm seeking, would most likely be in this forum. So please, dont kill me for posting this here.:smiley_ab I just started my first clinical semester at BMCC. For those of you who've been there, you know that there is only one professor available to the weekend/evening program. I have been hearing some really negative things about the exams and I was just wondering if any of you can confirm or deny. I guess its okay to mention that the professor is Eng. I actually like her as a professor but after listening to her previous students, I am know starting to have major anxiety. Some of things I've heard is that the tests have nothing to do with the material that we learn in class or from the texts. If this is the case, how are we expected to pass these exams with a decent grade. One girl actually told us to forget about getting an A and thank your lucky stars if you get a C! Also I would really appreciate any study techniques that you guys feel would be relevant for this class. Thanks for all your help. It is very much appreciated!!
