  1. I sure appreciate the attempt, but that's not what I'm after. Nice read though.
  2. I'm an LPN in an acute care setting; and I'm working on my RN. After getting a couple years of ER experience as an RN, I'm thinking seriously about buying an RV and travelling. It sounds like the most amazing lifestyle!!! My question is this: I have zero family here and plan to never return to this area(or any of the areas where I have family)...so I will NOT have a tax home. By IRS standards, I will be an itinerant worker and will not qualify for the per diems. Soooooo, will this make negotiating a contract with prospective travel nursing companies easier since there will be fewer ways for the salespeople (recruiters) to confuse and possibly manipulate me as they spew out a gazillion numbers in about 30 seconds? As an itinerant worker, it seems that some of the "numbers games" that recruiters apparently play might not even apply to me. I'm just a confused guy trying to learn about all of this. Should I expect a slightly higher hourly wage since the travel company doesn't have to pull from the pot to pay per diems in my case...or am I confused on this too? Ha! Thanks in advance guys/gals!!!
