Frontier: Class 148
Hi all! I applied to class 148 FNP and received my acceptance email yesterday! I am in Arizona. Anyone else from out west? I already made my travel arrangements for bound and will be flying in on the 28th and staying over in Lexington Ky.

honeykrown, I never had a problem with it. If you continue to have problems I would contact the school. Good luck to you!

Good luck to all who has applied! I have applied to the FNP class 101 (May Frontier Bound) and yes the wait is awful. I will not hear anything until around March. I do wish they were able to let us know earlier for planning purposes (flights, financial aide, etc) but it is what it is. Again, good luck to everyone who has applied!

Frontier Bound May 2012
Good luck to you! Frontier is the only school I have applied to...hoping it works out for me. I was going to wait until the summer session, but thought why not go ahead and apply....so I did! Now for the wait! :)

Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing-FNP Program
jd2186, According to Frontier's website, they require one year RN experience and a GPA of at least a 3.0. If it is 2.7 to 2.99, then they require one to take the GRE. Yeah, I looked into Georgetown University, but they were wanting approx $1600 a credit hour...too pricey for my budget. I haven't heard anything about Maryville, but the class schedule sounds great!

Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing-FNP Program
Your right, we won't know until 6 to 8 weeks before the Frontier Bound we have applied for. I have already asked for leave just in case. I have looked into other schools but feel Frontier is the school for me. I just hope I get accepted. Good luck to you!

Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing-FNP Program
So I know this is an old thread, but didn't get any response when I posted a separate thread. I recently applied to Frontier for the FNP class 101 which would mean Frontier Bound in May. The waiting to find out if I am accepted is going to be a killer! Anyone else applied yet?

Having teenagers and being in the Military
I worry about this a little bit also as I have a 16-year-old son. He told me he was okay with me going into the AF, but now that it is actually going to happen, he is less than happy (guess he thought I was joking). He won't graduate until next year, so I think my husband was going to stay behind until he graduates, because I don't want to move him his senior year. I am feeling a little guilty now because he has, just recently, told me how he really feels about this situation.

Medical Records
I know this is premature as I won't be going to COT until July/August, but does anyone know if we will need to bring our private medical records with us, or do they just start a new one on you, or do we just sign a medical records release. Wanted to have everything in order before I go. Any info would be appreciated. (This is for the AF) Thanks a bunch!
