  1. it was just funny , i remembered meet the parents , sorry !!!!
  2. just curious , way off topic , but I was wondering if your middle name is motha??
  3. i thought you were talking about Respiratory Therapy, same initials RT. I would go for nursing , I just got accepted to a respiraory therapy program and I am going in it just because i have to wait 3 years if I want to do nursing
  4. you are only 21 so you might think that other jobs are perfect. There is stress in all jobs, no job is perfect!!!! try changing careers and tell me if I'm wrong!!!!!!
  5. no im not saying a female cannot assault another female , it's just that i would rather have a female dr check my wife , It wasn't painful though , that's what my wife said , she should have asked what she did that for , but at the time she didn't think much of it
  6. my wife recently went in for a breast exam and the dr twisted her nipple , she commented to me that she thought it was weird but good thing it was a female dr
  7. note cards are alot of help!!
  8. Your first mistake was taking anatomy and micro at the same time. I don't live too far from you in Victorville. At VVC our classes are also geared towards med students. They dont allow students to take two harcore classes like micro or anatomy in the same semester anymore for that same reason. Work on one class at a time even if it takes you longer.
  9. you're the type of RT i want to become , thanks alot for your soap, i enjoyed reading it!!!
  10. Wow I'm going to start Rt school in june and I hope I never become like that Rt you described. I've read on this board before that nurses express themselves very good about their Rt's but i guess there are people like that in all professions.
  11. im mexican and we don't ever do that , maybe it's a family thing. I'm Catholic so who knows maybe a different religion does this
  12. I changed majors to RT for now because of the long waitlist at my school, but my intentions are to become a nurse sometime in the future. I have been working as a kitchen cabinet designer for 8 years , I make good money close to what i'll make as a new grad but there is no job satisfaction at the end of the day for me. I want to do something that matters , i want to feel like my job means something to the world , to god!!! I am 26 years old and i dont want to turn 50 and realize I haven't done anything that matters in this world. I guess i chose the medical field because i have been around health problems all my life , first my grandma , she was diabetic on dialysis , i had to always go to the hospital to interpret , it was an every month thing. She always landed in the hospital , this lasted 10 years , now my parents are diabetic type II, hypertensive and I really want to be able to care for people like my family , I'm sorry to say this but there are alot of cruel people out there taking care of patients. Of course there are also good kind nurses out there and i want to be one of them!!!!!
  13. i will email you right now, i need all the advice i can get , especially from someone like you who has been there , done that!!!
  14. thanks to all who replied , i really appreciate it!!!
  15. thanks !!! I am gonna give it a shot cause I am interested in it. I never plan to stop furthering my education so who knows I might go into nursing later in life anyways , I read in here that some are 50 and graduating from nursing so hey i can do it too!!!! This board is really cool!!
