I work at St. Joseph. 8th and 11th floor are med/surg and they're pretty tough except you get CNAs which is a life saver. Tele is super hard, and ICU/CCU are really nice. there's openings for psych, diamond headache unit (a modern day opium den), and some of the labs too. we're pretty desperate so you can probably work you way into a acute care setting if you want. you pay for parking each month, you get 2500 (1600 after taxes) back on your college tuition every 6 months, which is nice. I dunno... you have to start somewhere right, and you can't go to a nice hospital until you pay your dues somewhere else. The nicest thing about st. josephs is that some of the floors, depending on shift, have awesome people working with you. If you're not on one of those floors though, good luck.
