Hi nursemich. I mailed an authenticated photocopy of my transcript. They don't need the original copy. And don't forget to send them also an authenticated copy of your RLE Record.

Hi with regards to the white card. The white card will be sent with a letter from the BON. But it will not indicate any time limit when you should mail back the white card. But it's stated there that you should only return it to them when you are ready. There's no specific time limit stated in the letter so I do not know the expiration. I submitted mine 2 months after I received the white card.

Hi toma, I am doing great! Thanks for asking. Hope you are too.... And yes, I will be working soon. FYI, You have to wait for your approval to sit for the exam first then wait for the white card which requires you to put your candidate ID no. Once you mail them back the white card ( don't return it if you are not ready yet ) the BON will make you eligible and Pearson Vue will send you your ATT. Then the 90 days begin.... I did not attend a review center. I studied on my own. I did the same thing when I took the local board. I only used Saunders and the CD.And it does work! . Plus the Prioritization and Delegation book by Mosby. You can do it,just believe in yourself and pray hard. And when you get to experience the glory of God, it will be one of the most fantastic moments of your life. :balloons:

Hi there :-) The photocopy of the license does not need to be notarized. I sent it via regular mail. About my exam... I passed it :-) And I am so happy!!!!!! My wish for you is to experience this priceless feeling of passing the NCLEX. You can do it! :-)

Hi everyone :-) I took the NCLEX yesterday and the computer shut down after I answered question number 111. I got A LOT of computation questions and meds plus herbal medicines,infection control,prioritization,delegation,select all that apply and psychiatry questions. Do I have a chance of passing with these kinds of questions? I am aware that international examinees have a 45% passing rate.... Please enlighten me. Thank you so much and God bless us all.

I did not have a hard time getting a schedule because I called up Pearson Vue last July and there were a lot of available slots here in the Philippines.I was able to get the date that I wanted. I just do not know if it's still easy nowadays... I have about 2 weeks left before I take the exam.My advice to you is study well, do your part and God will reward all your efforts. :-)

Hi, this is what I did... I passed the December 2006 NLE and our licenses were released April 2007. I submitted my application form, fee, transcripts ahead of my license. I attached a cover letter stating that I will just send the copy of my license right away upon release. The very nice person I got in touch with from the Vermont BON said that what I did was ok for them. They received my documents March, 2007. I sent the copy of my license April 2007. And early May, I got my approval to sit for the exam. You can do what I did. :-) I hope it helps.

Hi, I have a similar problem as yours. I have three first names, my middle name and of course my last name. For example: Maria Anna May Suarez Flores. My transcript, diploma,passport and records with the state BON all have my complete three first names. When I registered online at the PV website, my three first names can't fit inside the first name box. I was in a dilemma because my passport has all my three first names and even the State BON . So I emailed the PV customer service, called them, had a live chat with a PV agent too. I also emailed the state BON and they all said the same thing." This will not cause you any problems on your exam day. When you arrive at the test center, we will make sure your VERY FIRST and LAST NAME match exactly with your ATT and your ID/Passport. The names in between your VERY FIRST and VERY LAST NAME are not as important." So my dilemma is gone. And I hope that it will assure you too. GOD bless us all. :-)

Hello everyone especially Suzanne :-) Pardon me if this topic might seem shallow but I just need some clarification. I have noticed something about Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX CD ROM... The fill in the blank questions are confusing. Sometimes, when I give a answer with the exact words of the correct answer but with no period in the end, the CD says that my answer is incorrect.But then sometimes, when I do place a period the answer is also wrong. This also happens with capitalizing letters and with putting units after each dosage calculation. Even if the words are correct, the CD says it is incorrect. Can you please tell me how to deal with these things during the actual NCLEX? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much and God bless us all.

I totally agree with you. Negativity won't do us any good. The mere fact that the NCSBN approved this Manila testing center means a whole lot and it's the responsibility of each Filipino NCLEX taker here to uphold the dignity of this testing center. I am begging everyone to stop the negativity and give this testing center a chance to prove itself. You are not helping us, the nurses who will take the NCLEX here by giving us so many negative opinions. These negative opinions can bring us down. God is in control of everything and I believe that He won't allow bad things to happen here. PEACE to everyone.

Hi, the people of VT BON are very efficient and nice. My application was approved after less than 2 and a half months. I guess, it depends on the completeness of your documents. The amazing thing about VT BON was I got my ATT from Pearson Vue a day after they received the white card. It was stated in their approval letter that within 2 weeks after they receive the white card, the ATT will be sent. It only took a day for VT BON to ask Pearson Vue to release my ATT. And the best part is, I was able to get a good date to take my NCLEX exam here in the Philippines thanks to their efficiency. Kudos to them! They do their jobs well. God bless you and do not worry,VT BON won't let you down.

Hi Suzanne and to all those who replied. :-) Suzanne, I have just emailed Pearson Vue about my situation. According to the website, it will take 3 to 4 days for them to reply. Aside from the email, I will also call their customer service because I do not want to commit a mistake.I want to do things right. :-) So for now, I just need to wait and continue studying. The problem is, my first names WON'T FIT in the registration at Pearson Vue online. And they are asking for the exact full name. Hello everyone especially Suzanne. Please help me.... I just found out via the VERMONT Website that my application has been approved and I am allowed by Vermont to sit for the exam. What should I do next? My sister who is a nurse in the US said that I won't be able to register with Pearson yet without a number coming from Vermont. Will Vermont send me a notification letter via snail mail or via email? And should I wait for that notification from Vermont before I register with Pearson ( since I don't have that number yet that my sister told me about )? Please enlighten me. Thank you very much.

I am very interested to work in Australia. Can someone please tell me about the BRIDGE Program that is required for a foreign trained nurse to work in Australia? Is it true that the Bridge program can only be taken in Sydney? Can it be taken in Victoria instead? My special someone is from Melbourne and he wants me to work there as a nurse.Please enlighten me.
