Hi, Everyone. I have this example question-drug calculation. Could someone shed some light on it-the steps of working it out. You are required to give 300 micrograms. The ampoule contains 1: 5000 in 5mls. How much are you going to give? The answer I got was 0.3 ml. I first converted 300 micrograms to grams. 1: 5000 = 1gram in 1000mls so the answer is 5 grams. 300 divided by 1000 = 0.3 0.3 times 5 = 1.5 1.5 divided by 5=0.3 Is this correct-I need some guidence.
