  1. I am a brand new nurse working as a pct in the OR dept of my local hospital. I am trying like crazy to find a LPN position in my hospital, but am having no luck!! There are plenty of openings for RN positions. I am beginning to feel that I just wasted over a year of school, hard studying, passing NCLEX the first time, ... all for nothing!! I know we in a nursing shortage, but are hospitals only short staffed of RN's.
  2. Help!!! I can't keep the basic lab values in my head for more than a few minutes!!! Does anyone have any tips or ANYTHING to keep the darn things in my head where they belong? I am taking nclex-pn on March 30th and nothing I am studying is staying with me!!!!
