Here in CO springs the need is HUGE and from what I hear they hire NEW grads all the time..I wonder if it is different in Denver..I went to the Denver health site after reading your reply and saw they have a new grad program and they have 15 pages worth of RN positions open..around 100 nurses needed..some say 1-2 years experience is needed but many say it's preferred but does not appear to be, "a deal breaker." this is the first I have heard of people having problems due to being a new grad..most hospitals appear to have new grad programs and I know at least one new grad who got hired as soon as they passed the NCLEX..it was at Denver health.. it is hard to find a job as a new grad or just that sign on bonuses are not readily available? Thanks in advance for any reply!
