Thanks for the input. I will consider looking into accupucture. Good luck with you.

Thanks for the input. However, the neuosurgeon said he would not do surgery on me. I don't know if it is because they are small to moderate in size or why. He looked at my MRI and his nurse called but had no reason why.
  3. Hi there, My advice is only do the LPN if you are self deciplined enough to finish the RN after. If you are young and do not have to support yourself just get the RN. It took me 10 years of being a LPN to go back and finish. There were many factors as to why I waited. I don't know your situation but sometimes it is hard to go back.

Was her pay relatively the same? I do have a family to support and love direct patient care!

I have been doing some form of nursing for about 17 years. I hurt my back in sept. and did not see a doctor. I continued to work but thought it would get better. I hurt my back again in november and found out I had small to moderate herniated discs(4 in the lumbar). My physical therapist said I should not do direct patient care any longer. My doctor has not said this yet. What do you guys think? Nursing and my children are my life. Do I need to think about doing some other form of nursing?
