I'm planning to finish my nursing at home (Philippines) my question is, do I still need to take my local board examination after I graduated although I am already an immigrant here in the US? What about the CGFNS, am I required to take it also? Do I have to take it in Philippines or here? Please advice and thank you so much for taking time in answering my question I do really appreciated it. Have a good night.

What are some jobs I can apply? Because, i have no idea at all. If i want to take the CNA or LVN exams, where will I go to check if im qualified??

If i choose to continue my studies in Philippines, i need to wait for 10 months (second semester of the year) for me to be accepted again. What will I do for now while im still waiting for that semester? Im planning to evaluate my foriegn transcript as per requirments by El Camino College. Will that be a good idea??? Hi to everyone !!! Im Kevin, turning 20 this Jan19 :balloons: and a 3rd year Nursing student of HOLY NAME UNIVERSITY in the Philippines. I was petitioned by my stepfather and now staying at Longbeach,CA. I want to know what are the things that I need to do first coz i have lots of questions that is bugging in my mind. Please help me because im so confused.. 1. We all know that studying here is so expensive. I inquired some community schools here. And I need to stay for 1year in CA before I can avail the 2O dollars per unit. If im still waiting for it. What are some medical jobs I can apply? 2.Can I take any exams of CNA or LVN. Im already in 3rd year. Am I qualified?? If yes, what are the things that I should do?? 3. What do you think is the best place to finish my Nursing career.
