  1. I was trying to find out the same answer to this question.
  2. Thank You for all of your help! I got an A :) Couldnt have done it without the info. that you gave me..thank you!!
  3. It took me 3yrs to get into the school im in now, so I felt like I had gotton the golden ticket...im not transfering, my sister is going to stay with me so she can watch the babies on my cliniacal days (I have to get up at 3:15 and leave by 4 on those days) and day care on other days, so it all worked out..exspecially since ive been really missing my sister. :):roll
  4. Thats auesome! Thank you so much for the input, a lot of that info. I will be able to use in my report. There isnt a NCLEX in germany? About how many questions were on the test? Did you and the other students think it was hard? If you failed, were you able to take it over?? Those are just some questions that we as students have for the NLEX in the u.s. and I just thought that would be interesting in the report. Do you think the programs have changed signifigantly from 10yrs. ago? Im sure alot of the health care practices have changed, and I know that it is still a three yr. program, but I wonder if there is still so many clinical hrs. seems that would be the way to go though, Ive been in clinicals for almost six weeks and ive learned as much as I have being in shcool for the whole semester, I just cant wait when I go to work as a lpn knowing that I will be able to learn so much more. Thanks for the input.
  5. Could you tell me what the nurses wear in germany? Are they alot like the states?
  6. Hi, I have a report to do for a nursing class, I am hoping someone could tell me what the nursing schools in germany are like. I can find plenty of web pages but I cant read english. What I would like to know is How many yrs. to for a lpn or rn, Im not sure what it would be called in germany, Are the classes a lot like the us classes? Pharmacolgy, fundys, skills etc. Any input would be greatly apprecieated, thanks so much If anyone went to a nursing school in germany, could you tell me what it was like? anything at all. thanks so much.
  7. That is an auesome web site...Thanks for letting us know
  8. Thank You for the reply...that is an option that niether of us would really like, but he helps out w/ watching the kids on his days off while I am in shcool...we have 12,7,1,2 yr. old...the kids would stay w/ me, I drive 1 1/2 hrs to school everyday...usuallly 2 hrs on the way home because of traffic...I dont like any of this and I just wish it could be an option for him to start in June..but unfortantly it is not.
  9. My husband was offered a job in GA...I am in my first semester of lpn and will graduate next year in May...my husband wants me to transfer my second semester to GA...He seems to think that it will be a piece of cake and I dont agree..I think that I would have to go back on a waiting list and wait that much longer b4 I graduate...has anyone ever been in the same predictament? tia Cherie
  10. I am a little luckier than others..not to brag, but my husband trys to pick up 2-3 days of overtime in a pay period to pay for the child care and my gas to get back and forth to shcool..(I drive 1 1/2 hrs each way to school) but unfortanatly some of my classmates arent so lucky...I would try to get as much help as possible..one student I know had to swallow her pride and get food stamps, but I think it will be worth it when she finishes shcool...she went to the finacial aid department and got student loans and talked with someone and was honest about not being able to finish shcool if she didnt get help..they led her in the right direction and she is now getting a lot of help...she did say it was a lot of paper work and it took a while before she was able to get all the help she needed..but Im glad she did it...she is getting A's and doing great in clinicals! There is help out there...you just need to go talk to people and find out what u need to do.

Has anyone attended this?? Did it really help a lot? I dont want to spend 450 dollars and find out that it was a waste of time. ..they claim on their website that 95% of thier students have passed...any feedback would be great..
