Does anyone know when the peds track people will find out which track we are in?

No, I have not heard of Gale Lofts. I am actually thinking about Alara Farms. It is out in Franklin. Not too far from Vanderbilt. It even has a doggy run at the apartments. It has gotten great reviews.

What prince range are you looking for? I am looking around too. I have a few suggestions just from looking around.

Yeah. How do I apply for a TN state license?

Oh...and does anyone have suggestions about good apartments to move in to?

I got into the peds track. I am very excited. So, if we don't pass the NCLEX the first time, are we out of the program? I feel the pressure now to pass!! ahh!

I know there is a lot of confusion about when we are supposed to hear from them. I do recall hearing early April when I was actually at the interview. Hopefully I heard right. The wait is difficult. I know we are all waiting on something that will surely change our lives.

Where from Illinois are you from? I used to live in Chicago. I now live in Florida. I also interviewed for the Peds track. I now live in Florida and go to school here. I drove from here. It took 10 hours. How about you?

Vanderbilt was such a nice place to visit! Did everyone else enjoy their time there? Lots of people coming from other states....my drive was 10 hours!

Miamigrad, What school are you at right now? Did you interview yet? I just interviewed for the peds track as well. It was kinda scary, but they were all so friendly.

I just had my interview. The people on the panel were very very nice. Good experience.

I got my letter from UNF on Thursday and I got in! I'm excited.

Hey. I was there yesterday too for an interview at UNF, but for the accelerated program. It was intimidating I thought. I thought I did well, but everyone did in my group. I have no idea how they decide with such good answers from everyone. What was your answer to the adversity question? How about the two tasks you dislike question? How about the question about what you look for in a nurse? And the where you see yourself in 5 years?

No, I meant the NAT. It is the PSB-NAT. Psychological Services Nuring Aptitude Test. And I have done really well in all of my math classes. I have taken calc and gotten an A. The math portion of the NAT is difficult because you have to do long division and complex word problems in such a short amount of time. The use of a calculator definately makes a difference.

So I heard that some people who have taken the NAT on the computer have used the drop down calculator. when I heard this I was upset because if you think about it, having a calculator could make a huge score difference. I know because the test is timed, having to do math long-hand takes up a huge amount of time. Also, there is more room for error with doing by hand rather than calc. Anyway, I called open campus downtown where I took the test (and used no calculator). I asked the guy in charge if people are able to use the computer's calc. He told me no, but he would have no way of knowing if people did. I think this is unfair and unprofessional. Are calculators allowed during the paper/pencil version?
