  1. hi there... I also live in the Sarver area.... I am still in LPN school and graduate in Aug 07.... we did our clinical time at Concorda , which i thought was the best facility!!! I can't wait to graduate and hopefully get hired there.. I live about a mile from Fairwinds as well, but since being at Concorda and seeing their place and dealing with the great pts. I think that is where i would love to work!!! I actually had a pt there that i still go and visit on Sunday mornings after church and on holidays! I can't wait until school is over and try and get a job there. They have GREAT benefits and can work the 3 -12 hr shifts. That would work out perfect for me being a mom of 2. I hope that this helped you?
  2. Hi there, I am new to this site. I started LPN school in Sept and finally done with my first Level!!! I am not going to lie to you, It is very hard and you do spend ALOT of time studying!! When they told us at the beginning, you don't have a life until you are done, THEY WERE RIGHT! I am doing well, but i work very hard at it, for i have been out of school for 23 yrs. I don't know how the people that work a job on top of this , can do it. I spend all my time at home, studying! It is very rewarding though, I did my first catheter the day before Christmas break and I am still proud of myself! I keep thinking, 8 more mo. to go!!! my instructors are wonderful though and talk you through every procedure. I am glad that i decided to go to school for LPN, just gets frustrating at times... GOOD LUCK WITH THE DECISION YOU WILL MAKE!!!
