Hi there, I am new to this site. I started LPN school in Sept and finally done with my first Level!!! I am not going to lie to you, It is very hard and you do spend ALOT of time studying!! When they told us at the beginning, you don't have a life until you are done, THEY WERE RIGHT! I am doing well, but i work very hard at it, for i have been out of school for 23 yrs. I don't know how the people that work a job on top of this , can do it. I spend all my time at home, studying! It is very rewarding though, I did my first catheter the day before Christmas break and I am still proud of myself! I keep thinking, 8 more mo. to go!!! my instructors are wonderful though and talk you through every procedure. I am glad that i decided to go to school for LPN, just gets frustrating at times... GOOD LUCK WITH THE DECISION YOU WILL MAKE!!!
