i guess it's not that big difference as compared here in las vegas NV. I am about $37/hr (3yrs med-surg + 6 1/2yrs L&D = almost 10yrs experience). just worried if we can afford to get a house there (decent size) in the sense as what janeyW just said the cost of living is high in SD.

Hi! Planning to move out to san diego, ca. any idea how much is the pay rate for L&D nurses 6+ more years of experience? Info needed badly. Hope someone can help. (heard RN in CA is well paid) THanks in advance.
