  1. The difference Between CRNA and AA

    Hi Please excuse my igorance but what are the main differences between a CRNA and an AA? I understand that an AA requires supervision from a MDA but at what level? Is 1-2-1 or 1-2-2 (or more?) Can they both perform the same procedures or are there limits? (ETT, ART, CVP, Epidurals etc) Can either groups prescribe meds? What's the difference in pay? What is the role of the CRNA in a large hospital with many MDA's?
