  1. I'll be attending UCF's basic BSN program in Daytona in January. Before I applied, the counselor told me that the three most important things they consider are GPA, pre-reqs, and completion of your AA. She also told me that since I was a transfer student, I didn't need to complete the essay on the university app., but I did it anyway. The only problem I've had with UCF is their disorganization. For instance, I almost didn't get into the nursing program because the university failed to inform the school of nursing that I'd been admitted. It was only after I became impatient and called them that the nursing dept. questioned me about it and had me fax over my university acceptance letter. Two days later I got my nursing acceptance letter. So if you choose UCF, just call them often and make sure they have all the info they should. Good luck, hope this helps!
