  1. Thank you for all the info. tou are very kind. Right now I am waiting from OCCC BA to AD and from Rose, If for some reason it doesn't pan out, I will apply at OSU-OKC for the spring term.
  2. It looks like, in my quest for nursing school, OCCC and Rose are the most likely places I will end up going to (or should I say, least likely to reject me). If there are any OCCC or Rose students or grads that could tell me about their own experience going to these schools, what your schedule, teachers, overall experience was like, I would really appreciate it Thank you in advance for your help Sergio
  3. Congratulations Lana and the best luck in the world Sergio
  4. Thank tou very much, teebee, I will give her a call
  5. Hi! My name is Sergio, I have a wive and a kid, we live in Portland, Oregon, but my wife is from Norman, Ok. I am 31 and have a BS in General Science from Portland State University. It wasn't until I completed my degree that I decided to go into nursing. I wanted to go to one of the schools here, but my wife got homesick and we decided to move to Norman next Summer. I am applying to any school that would take me in. If all else fails, i will probably get an LPN and work my way from there, so... please wish me luck! By the way, thanks to all of you for all your answers, you have been great! See you soon!!!!
  6. You know... At first I was skeptical about Oklahoma City University. Yes, it is expensive and I was almost ready to dismiss it as a chance, but, looking clsely at it, I realized that I would have to pay almost the same amount of money as a non-resident at other places like OU, Thank you for pinting it out, otherwise I would probably not have applied there. hopefully they will take me. Thank you all and happy new year! Sergio
  7. Thank you for your posts, you are great! I have another question: at the schools you go, what are the science classes that they consider to compute the science GPA? any imput will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Sergio
  8. Thank you for all your input, you guys are great! keep'em coming, hahaha!oh, by the way, if any of you know a nurse named Freya, I think she works at Norman Regional, if you know her. could you tell her that Maggie and Sergio say hi from Portland?, Thanks.
  9. Hello, I live currently in Portland, Oregon, I have a BS fromn Portland State University and plan to go to move to Norman and attend nursing school, so far I have heard that several schools do not take the AandP classes, they only take anatomy and physiology separately. I am applying to OU, OKstate, OCentralU, OKCCC and Rose State. do any of you think that I have a chance of getting into any of these schools? my overall GPA is 2.80 and my prereq gpa is about 3.3 or 3.5. any info would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance
