There were 3 ladies have babies while we were in nursing school. I definately would NOT recommend it. However, they did seem to handle it and they are all graduating with me this week! Then again, they all had them in the middle or right near finals so there wasn't a "break." Literally, one girl had her's and had to take the final the next day. Like everyone says, it can be done, but it will be difficult. I too want children, my husband and I are planning on trying around July...now that I'm out :).

I have a few questions about the Z-coils and MBT shoes. I've heard that MBT's are not designed for "wet" floor situations and was wondering if anyone had any trouble with traction. Obviously you don't want a wet floor ever, but just in the event that I came across one. Also, I'll be working in the OR and I am curious is the Z-coil shoe causes a problem with cords? Thanks. Thanks for the info. I have high arches and I also have strange feet so the crocs don't fit. One size is too small, the other, floppin around on my foot. I have a pair of Easy Spirit sneakers that I like, but I don't know if they're gonna be able to hold up to 8-12 hours on my feet. Thanks again for your help. Stacy

I have some of those socks...and they do help alot...I just don't want my feet to be too tired at the end of the day...thanks.

I am a soon to be recent graduate (1 week and counting). I will be working in the OR at Children's hospital. I would like some suggestions on the best shoes to stand still for long periods of time.
