Hello, my name is Gloria and I am looking to relocate to NC in the upcoming months. I have decided to pursue my nursing career after 6yrs of being out of school and being a housewife, with 2 kids. The problem is that I don't know where to begin. I majored in Nursing Assisting in H.S. but was unable to complete it. It's been 6yrs so I know I have to take the course all over again. I need to know how I can go about doing that. I was thinking of taking the CNA course here in NY but I'm not sure if it will transfer over to NC. Would it be better (in your opinion) to start fresh in NC beginning with the CNA program and so on? I am looking to relocate to the Charlotte area if anyone has any ideas or information for me. Also, I am being told to try community colleges but I would like to know if there are any trade schools that I can attend. Money is very low so I need to find the cheapest and most rewarding route available. Thanks. :monkeydance:
