financial stuff
Oh yes, I meant Feb 2007! I know how your husband feels believe me, I change my mind about it all several times a day! From what I can gather it took 4 months for Congress to pass the 90,000 visas last time, that was from intro of Bill to its passing and visas available, but as yet no Bill has been introduced into Congress, apart from the CIR for complete exemption which could take a year at least.

Oh, well, I saw that you have had I140 approved for some time and still waiting, I thought retrogression happened in Oct? Presuming we are all in a queue thought that you would get your visa before me. I filed in July last year. Could it be months still before we are able to move?, don't know, its all very difficult esp as have a teenager in middle of GCSE's.

4 Years! Have just got I140 approval in Feb myself, but now stuck in retrogression, not sure how much longer it will be to actually getting a visa but am already getting fed up of waiting. Is anybody else out there thinking of giving up?? Its ridiculous there are no visas for nurses who want to work in the US.

The kids
It sounds really difficult to settle kids who aren't keen to begin with. I hope it all goes well for you. I was also concerned about continuing education for post 18yr olds in the US, just wanted to know of any Brits experiences of this matter, ie paying for further education, availability of scholarships and grants to non citizens etc, any info gratefully received.

The kids
Hi, this is my first post. I am planning to be moving to Tucson to work at TMC sometime ! who knows when. (I-140 filed july 06, not approved yet). I have a 15 yr old daughter who is not too keen on the move but resigned to it now and says she will get used to it, she was 8 when this all started!! and liked the idea then, got less enthusiastic with age.lol It is relocating the kid that is worrying me the most out of the whole process I have to admit. Anyone with teenagers who have made the move would like to know your experiences good or bad.
