can any of you help me in this one? i would really appreciate all views and comments on this matter... i'm working a study with regards the issues of amending the present nursing curriculum... thanks....

Hmm... Good for you you have the finance resources to buy the book... lol... as for me... in truth, (as to mention if i have to buy all the books that i may need for my thesis) i can't afford one... can you help me with those sites readily accessible in the internet? any one please??

I tried narrowing down my research... which do you think is more appealing? > A comparative study between the General Nursing (GN) and the BSN curriculum in relation to the CHED's proposed amendment to make the Nursing Curriculum a 5-yr course; (is the proposed amendment the same or different from the former GN program which implemented a 5-yr course but later abolished in the Philippines last 1982) or > The Effectiveness of the BSN curriculum of (a certain college of nursing) with regards to the proposed amendment of CHED to make the curriculum a 5-yr coursE?

Ok ok.. so I decide to pursue the topic... It challenges me plus the fact of its newness i plan to conduct a feasibility study on it (but im on time constraints here). yes its the BON who makes the questions. But the Credibility of the new BON was questioned because of the leakage issue. Some of my friends who took the june 2006 NLE were affected because of it. but lets get ON TRACT here... I'm asking about the issue of THE NURSING CURRICULUM... Do you think its the same as the 5-yr course program of the General Nursing that was abolished last 1982? ( THat was the curriculum i knew that implemented the 5-yr course program ) or is it different? I planned to narrow down my research to comparing the GN and the BSN Curriculum in relation to the proposed amendment of CHED to make the Nursing curriculum a 5-yr course. Or should I just evaluate the effectiveness of the BSN curriculum lets say for the past 5-yrs of a specific college of nursing in relation to the proposed amendment? Which do you think is more appealing?

In truth, as i think of it overnight... I want to pursue this topic now. Did some brainstorming on the matter and consulted some individuals. I just can't really get hold of that proposed curriculum ( the FACT of it ). The Commision on Higher Education (CHED) in the Philippines proposed to amend the BSN curriculum and make it a 5-year course. But i dont see the benefit of adding another year since US colleges and universities are attempting to train nurses within a shorter length of time.

Seems to me we have the same views on the matter. If the Nursing curriculum really have a problem why is it that employers abroad are running over our nurses? In truth, I posted this querry because I planned to conduct a thesis for my MA with regards to this topic. But I later found out that the topic is so overwhelming and i got lost on how i could set my scope and limitations... I really want to pursue my topic. I really want to investigate on the matter but my resources in my place is so limited... Do anyone have any idea where i could start looking?

Yeah, I have seen my mistake there... I disregarded the fact that this is such a new issue in my country and that I could have a problem finding resources... Do you think I have to change topic???

Hmm.. well I enlisted some topics and my thesis advisor was the one who decided which one I'll work on... and that was the topic she approved. But as I think of it now, this one's a bit complicated... tried narrowing it down but i think I'm still not getting things in order... Pre-Orals' on December 17.... I should be able to submit up to chapter III of my thesis yet I'm stock with my thesis title and statement of the problem....:uhoh21: CAn you help me please? I would really appreciate your opinions....

I'm a newly grad, pursuing my MA degree and now on the part of thesis writing... With limited knowledge on how to build my thesis, can anyone guide me please? I'm losing time..... my thesis protor told me to submit my chapters 1-3 by Dec 17! and thats less than 3 weeks from now... Help me please???:uhoh21:

In truth, I'm a newly grad, with only a year of clinical experience and is not yet very much familiar with situations like this... I was hoping you could any one help me get "on Track" of things ... I badly need a mentor on the matter of Thesis Writing...

What can you say about the issue on the proposed amendment of the CHED to make Nursing Curriculum in the Philippines a 5-yr course?

I have consumed 3 weeks already... looked at local libraries in my place yet im unsuccessful in locating the articles I'm looking for. What i was able to get hand was those articles who indirectly discuss that topic. Has anyone read any updates about this? I really appreciate if anyone could help me please...
