i recommend nurses education inc. they are the real deal.

I'm an IEN from the Philippines and I failed on my first attempt because I didn't study well enough. On my second attempt I decided to enrol in a review centre and I chose Nurses Education Inc. as per recommendations of my friends. They are really good and very particular with the Canadian Health System. They bombarded us with 1000+ exam questions and rationales. It was stressful but worth it. I really recommend it especially to IENs so that you'll be familiar with CRNE-type of exam. BTW, their review book is really good and I'm keeping it for my future reference.

We are in a same boat. I faailed in my first attempt. I am so devastated and can't sleep at night. I lost my confidence and I don't know if I am able to take the test in the future.

Let us all be POSITIVE about the outcome of the exam(eventhough it was really hard).

I think even if they change the requirements, you are still eligible... But I'm not sure with that.. You might as well call the CNO and inquire. And let us know. I'm taking the exam on october too and I'm an IEN from the philippines. In my case, I should register before march 2013 as my evidence of safe practice expires on that date. If I am not able to register on that date, I can still write my exam but I need to provide a new evidence of safe practice before I can register..

i never encountered any med-surg book that said elevation of leg is completely contraindicated in chf. or i just don't read med-surg book that much. lol..

Yes I am from the philippines...

Knowing your Assessor has nothing to do with it. Atleast you know who your assessor is and you can ask questions if you have any questions in aswering the competecnies..
