Help with Pharmacology
Need some assistance in Pharmacology. It seems that when my son completed the Saunders Review (Suzanne's plan) that this is an area that truly shows a weakness. He did not pass one Medication chapter. What is the best way to strengthen this before he takes his NCLEX for the second time? He took a pharm course in 03 but says that he really feels weak in this area.

Help with understanding NCLEX Results
Can anyine help me to understand the results from the NCLEX? My son did not pass and the report from Pearson says that in all but one category that he was near the passing level. He was below the passing level in pharm. Does this mean that he did not pass any area? Life was so much better in my time when we had 5 tests and needed 350 on each or when the comprehensive boards came out and we needed 1600 to pass. At least then if you did not make the grade they provided you with details as to where your weaknesses were and you had a idea of where to begin to study. Any comments?

Help!!!!! Please Help me
Hello everyone, I am a RN 24 years experience. My son just finished an AA program and sat for his boards. Unfortunately he did not pass. I am so concerned. I remember that when I was in his shoes we had to take 5 separate exams and score 350 on each to pass. I was also selected the year I graduated to take the "new" comprehensive exam. This meant I had to go back the next week and take another exam of 500 questions. I thought that was the end of the world for me. The stress and anxiety was tremendous. I came back to the hotel each night in tears and simply sat and rocked my son. My wife was supportive. Now I see that same son hurting because he failed and I want to do what I can to make sure that he passes the next attempt. He attended a Kaplan program already. They told him that he scored "borderline" I am throwing myself on the network of fine nurses to help me. Please guide me in how to help my son the best. I will do anything. I am very interested in the "Suzanne's plan". My son told me that he had alot of medications and priority type questions. But he could not give me specifics. I remember many of the questions I had. You can send me all suggestions to private message box. I would also like to converse with Suzanne the moderator. I wish all those who are waiting to take their NCLEX and those who have to take it again the most of luck. I know how much stress you are in. I can remember it like it was yesterday.
