  1. Congrats, remember God will give you the desires of your heart. Good luck RN:balloons: :monkeydance:
  2. Sorry, if I came across as being rude but, thats not the case. We are all just trying to help a soon to be RN answer the question by posting different views. Sorry again and have a nice day jill48. God bless:biere:
  3. Lets not add anything to the question, thats when things get hairy. The main point call the Dr. because frothy sputum means obstruction.
  4. Frothy sputum means obstruction and elevation would not make a difference therefore, the Dr. should be called immediately. Think about the situation and place yourself at the seen. The only way frothy sputum will come out of an adult or infant, child mouth is choking. It's not that hard, just relax and think, that's say with a lot of love and experience with myself. Good luck, God will give you the desires of your heart.
  5. I MADE IT, I PASSED MY NCLEX-RN EXAM. IT'S BEEN 3 WEEKS WAIT AND FINALLY I FOUND OUT THAT I PASSED. FIRST, I WILL LIKE TO THANK GOD, BECAUSE WITHOUT HIM NOTHING IS POSSIBLE IN LIFE. AND SECONDLY, TO THE NURSING STUDENTS, INSTRUCTORS, LPN'S, AND OLD/NEW REGISTERED NURSES FOR THEIR HELP IN STUDYING AND A PIECE OF MIND. SPECIAL THANKS TO SUZANNE4 FOR HER STUDY GUIDE AND GOOD ADVICE. THANK YOU ALL AND BEST OF LUCK TO THOSE WHO STILL WAITING OR STUDYING FOR THE NCLEX-RN. REMEMBER ALWAYS TRUST IN GOD, HE WILL GIVE YOU THE DESIRES OF YOUR HEART. KEEP IN MIND, BUT WHO HOPE IN THE LORD WILL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH. ISAIAH 40:31 :balloons: :monkeydance: :rotfl: :smiley_aa :yelclap: :redlight: :thankya: LOVE YOU GUYS AND THANKS AGAIN, AND REMEMBER KEEP GOD FIRST IN EVERYTHING YOU DO.
  6. The point is sweetie715, stop learning the kaplan strategy it's very confusing. Trust me, it's no help on the NCLEX-RN. It's better if you use expected outcomes and rationales for doing a procedure. Sometimes the strategy help confuse and make a question wrong. It's better to trust in your skills and what you know about nursing. For example, in the question the main thing is prevention and infection needs to be prevented from further complications. Remember, I can do all things throught Jesus Christ who strengthens me
  7. I felt the same way after the exam and continuing to feel that way until my result arrive in the mail. Think positive and remember God will give you the desires of your heart. God bless
  8. Congrats :balloons: :monkeydance: :rotfl: God is Good.
  9. I failed my 1st attempt with 75 questions. First, I assessed my study strategy and where I went wrong, using the NCLEX exam as a blueprint. Then, I read all interest nursing forum on this site and emailed people for advice. After that I started my studying strategy using a DIFFERENT STRATEGY and reviewing the material. My second attempt of the NCLEX-RN was on April 27, 2007 and still waiting for my results. The exam stopped at 75 questions. Good Luck and remember you can do all things throught Jesus Christ who can give you strength to carry on.
  10. God gave you the desires of your heart RN2007, GOOD JOB. :balloons: No more sleepless night studying it's time to work as a real Registered Nurse
  11. How was the NCLEX RNtobe2007? How many questions did you get? What are your thoughts? I am still waiting for my results, I took the NCLEX-RN on April 27, 2007. I can remember a lot of questions especially the ones that maybe wrong. Remember to rest, relax, and be confident in your answer selection. Stay strong
  12. Kaplan is similar and harder than the actual NCLEX exam but, it prepare you well. I have found that the ATI testing is good with the maternity material but, you most try kaplan.
  13. Mrs.Nurse2b remember chin up and focus on the task at hand. Remember everyone has trials but it's how the individual cope, and for you it should be coming out swinging at NCLEX. Mrs.Nurse2b nursing school is not easy and if you passed school the NCLEX is possible. I am still waiting for my results but I am not giving up either way. Stay strong, re-group, and come back armed with knowing your nursing material. Remember I can do all things with God who strenghtens me.
  14. Is it true that select all that applies questions and prority questions are considered higher level questions which equals to passing? And what are the odds that a person will have 75q's for the 1st attempt and failed, and 2nd attempt with 75q's and pass? (my results are still unknown) It's funny, because my 1st attempt I had 75q's and failed and 75q's for my 2nd attempt and still waiting for my results by snail mail. My 1st attempt the questions were so easy but, 2nd attempt I had prority, med's, select all that applies, and the computer stopped for a break which never happened for my 1st attempt. I am going crazy, I ask God for comfort and peace but the anxiety of just wanting to know is "eating at me." I feel that I need some advice about the level of questions, please can anyone shade a little light on the matter. Surely, in my 1st attempt I knew that I failed after completing the exam but, my 2nd attempt I feel differently. I keep telling myself that Jesus Christ will give me the desires of my heart.. Thanks guys in advance.
  15. Study well because when sitting to take the NCLEX everything goes blank and the only thing remains is what you studied. I can do all things with God who strengthens me... God bless
  16. No problem Want2bcomeAnRN, it's our job as graduate nurses to encourage each other when things are rough. I will also inform you about my results, and remember stay positive. I can do all things throught Christ who strengthens me. :) God bless
  17. Sorry, I don't have a story like yours but, I am waiting for my results by snail mail (2-3 weeks). My first attempt at the NCLEX-RN I failed with 75Q's and my second attempt I had 75Q's and continuing to wait. All I can say is think positive and remember God will give you the desires of your heart. God bless, I will keep you in my prayer.
  18. Nothing is wrong with you, God gave you the desires of your heart. Congrats, God bless.
  19. Congrats. Remember God will give you thr desires of your heart.
  20. I feel the same way, just imagine my first attempt at the NCLEX-RN exam I got 75 questions and failed. The second attempt I got 75 questions and still waiting for my results. It doesn't matter the number of questions you got but if you did well enough to pass. Remember God will give you the desires of your heart. I will be praying for both of us.
  21. This is my second attempt at the NCLEX-RN exam. On the first exam I had 75 questions and failed but on the second I also had 75 questions. My results will be ready in a week or so, the only thing I can say is that the level of difficulty was different then the first exam. What is so weird is that I knew that I failed after taking the first exam but the second exam I think differently. I know for a fact that the last question was correct because I asked my professor about the question. I keep telling my self that Jesus Christ will give me the desires of my heart which is to be a registered nurse. Well guys I will keep you posted! Remember Jesus Christ is Lord Do you have any thoughts on 75/75 questions first and second attempt? Let me know
  22. Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement, it means so much to me. And for you who is taking the exam on April 30 (yalpog), I will be praying for you also and everyone else. Thanks again, I will keep you guys posted.
  23. I am asking everyone to pray or write a word of encouragement for me on this tread. The NCLEX-RN will be taken on April 27, at our local pearson center. I have taken the NCLEX-RN before and got 75 questions and I am sure that I will get 85-90 questions, please offer prayers, or a word of encouragement. I can do all things throught Christ who strengthen me Philippians 4:13. Thanks to all
  24. A wonderful ending, congrats your papa is proud of you.
