  1. I work on a Med/Surg/Ortho unit. We usually start off with 5 patient on days/eves, and will usually get an admission or post-op. Nights were have 6-7-8 patients. About 3-4 CNA's for a total of 33 patients.
  2. I usually start off with 5 patients on days and eves. Usually get a admission or post-op. On ights I have had up to 8 patients. I work on a med/surg/ortho unit. We are supposed to have 1 CNA per nurse, but usually have 2-4 CNA for the floor which is 33 patients. Isn't there laws for ratios in every state? Hmmmmm......
  3. I am a new RN of 3.5 months and I make $23.00 in northwest indiana.
