REALLY annoyed with AANP!
Goodluck getting response from AANP. It is 2 years since I applied, sent several e-mails, made atleast 100 phone calls with abosolutely no success. Finally reported to BBB, can you believe AANP didn't even respond to BBB requests. I think the problem is with the head of the department Jane Towers, she spoke to me around 18 months ago, I submitted everything they asked for. The only thing I am asking for at present is to deny me and return my fee, they are still not responding. Any suggestions please. I am planning to talk to a lawyer this week.

thanks for your response. It is now 2 years still waiting for reply from AANP. Already reported to BBB with no success, AANP didn't respond to even BBB requests. Any suggestions re: legal action. I left them several meassages including e-mail to head of certification dept. I can't believe AANP certification dept. still exists after dealing with nurses so unprofessionally and unethically.

Anybody had similar experiences with AANP for certification, applied 6 month ago, no response, everytime I call them, I get this response"your application is still pending," very unprofessional, I am really fed up, I feel like giving up, Thank God I am already NP and certified through ANCC, imagine if i had to wait that long to get certified in order to get my license. I had excellent experience with ANCC. I thought may be for this speaciality I will try AANP, not a good decision, I already paid fees, Any feedback:angryfire!

for CRNA'S. debating NP/CRNA
HI GUYS, I need sincere advise, I am a long time ICU nurse, did my ACNP 3 years ago, wanted to go to CRNA prog. as it was hard to find decent money making job despite of MSN degree, applied to CRNA Prog and got accepted, meanwhile a got offer for a state job as NP paying about 115000 plus all the benefits. I have 2 teenagers, to go to school I have move to a different state. Is it worth taking stress for going to CRNA prog if I make decent money at my new job, I am very streesed re: the situation, I am in my new job for only a month, so far it seems OK, but at same time I don't want to give up oppurtunity of becoming CRNA, PLEASE help me
